Description:
  1. Address bids to City of Garden City, Public Works, P.O. Box 998, Garden City, Kansas, 67846 on or before 1:00 p.m. CT, September 2, 2025. Bids will be opened publically at 140 Harvest Street, Garden City, KS 67846
  2. Bids will be opened publicly by the City Manager or his official representative. All bids must be submitted prior to the bid opening time to qualify.
  3. After the bids are opened, each will be carefully reviewed. Generally, a decision as to who the best bidder is will be made within 24 hours after the bids are opened.
  4. The City of Garden City reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
  5. A responsible officer or employee of the company must sign all bids. Obligations assumed by such signature must be fulfilled.
  6. Time of delivery is a part of the consideration and must be stated.
  7. The successful bidder shall be responsible for the delivery of the equipment to the City of Garden City. This includes delivering chassis to a successful bed bidder for the installation of a bed as well as picking up the unit from the bed bidder for final processing.
  8. The City is exempt from applicable state and local tax, unless otherwise stated on the bid quotation form.
  9. All bids are to be F.O.B. Garden City, Kansas, unless otherwise stated.
  10. All bids must meet the MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS. Any bid which fails to do so will be subject to rejection.
