Project Description	Subject to conditions prescribed by the University of California, Los Angeles, sealed bids for a lump sum contract by prequalified bidders are invited for the following work: The scope of work includes bringing power to and installing 8 new, University-furnished EV chargers in the Transit Yard. The power will be drawn from an existing University manhole to feed a new, Contractor-furnished transformer and switchgear that will be provided as part of this project. A new enclosure will be built for the new electrical equipment. Saw cut and removal of the asphalt and concrete will be done to place underground conduits from the manhole to the enclosure, and from the enclosure throughout the Transit Yard, as required. University may pursue Energy Infrastructure Incentives for Zero-Emission Commercial Vehicles Project (EnergIIZE), see Alternate 1 for additional details.
