Description:	The City of Glendora is currently soliciting Proposals from qualified firms to provide consultant services necessary to complete the development of a Comprehensive Strategic Parks and Trails Master Plan. The Comprehensive Strategic Master Plan will evaluate and identify the City’s existing parks, trails, program offerings, current recreation trends and City standards. It will design a balanced and comprehensive strategy that will allow the City to meet the Park, Open Space, Trails and Recreation Facility needs of City residents as growth continues. Furthermore, the plan will include recommendations for possible new park construction based off community needs and growth. They will also be required to provide a recommendation for program cost and fees based on surveying other nearby cities. The consultant will make a presentation of the Draft Master Plan Report and Final Master Plan Report first to the Recreation & Human Services Director, and subsequently to the Community Services Commission, Trails Committee and the City Council. The Consultant shall work closely with the City’s Recreation & Human Services Director, Commissioners, Trails Committee, and Recreation & Human Services staff to receive information necessary to complete the Master Plan.
