Notes	The City of Arlington (COA) is seeking to replace two (2) aging diesel and spark ignition-powered tugs with electric aircraft tugs. In support of this initiative, we are issuing an invitation for bids from qualified vendors to supply two (2) electric aircraft tugs to replace the existing diesel and spark ignition-powered tugs currently in use at the Arlington Airport. This procurement is part of a broader effort to modernize airport equipment and is funded by a grant from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), promoting environmental sustainability. Additionally, we are requesting products that are equal to or comparable to the Eagle ETT-12X in terms of functionality, quality, and performance. Vendors may submit bids for one or both tugs, as they will be separated into two distinct sheets—one for each tug model. The goal is to identify electric aircraft tugs that meet the specific operational needs of the Arlington Air Center and integrate seamlessly with our existing infrastructure. The City of Arlington strongly encourages bidders to submit their response to this bid electronically. If submitting a paper bid, it must be submitted in a sealed envelope or package and labeled with the company name, solicitation number and title. Late bids will not be accepted. The City of Arlington exclusively uses IonWave for the notification and dissemination of all solicitations. The receipt of solicitations through any other means may result in your receipt of incomplete specifications and/or addendums which could ultimately render your bid/proposal non-compliant. The City of Arlington accepts no responsibility for the receipt and/or notification of solicitations through any other means.
