The District is requesting Bid Submittals from firms licensed in the state of Florida to provide habitat restoration work and seeding. The overall goal of this project is to improve the habitat value for wetland buffers and improve the suite of groundcover vegetation as a component of a sandhill pine restoration area. The groundcover seeding effort will be conducted in a not to exceed 25-acre area that was selected with the assistance of our land management staff who have selectively timbered to approximate 60-80 stems per acre and have recently burned the area.
