Overview

Summary

The County is seeking proposals from qualified firms to supply, operate, and maintain a leachate treatment system on County-owned landfill property. The selected firm shall supply, permit and fund the treatment system at its own expense.

The site location is in Hernando County, Florida:

NW Solid Waste Landfill, 14450 Landfill Road, Brooksville, FL 34614

The County will pay the Contractor based solely on the volume of leachate treated. All operational costs, maintenance, compliance monitoring, and regulatory reporting are the sole responsibility of the Contractor.
