The following specifications are to be considered as minimumrequirements.Special Requirements: The Kansas State Board of Agriculture for use in Kansas mustapprove all material. All materials shall be supplied in the size containers andconcentration specified. Each container must have an approved label statingmanufacturer, active ingredients, restrictions, precautions and contents and all speciallabeling required by the Kansas State Board of Agriculture. All materials must beguaranteed to give satisfactory results in controlling plant species listed on label.2,4-D Low Volatile Ester: Shall consist of butoxethyl ester, butoxethanol ester orisoocytyl ester of 2,4-Dichorophenoxyacetic acids. It shall have 5.6 pounds of active acidequivalent per gallon and contain sufficient suitable emulsifying or sequestering agents tokeep the product uniformly dispersed when diluted with water. All 2,4-D must be labeledfor the post emergent control of musk thistle at the rate of 1 ½ to 2 pounds per acre.2,4-D Amine: Shall consist of akanolamine salts, dimethyl salts, or diethanolamine saltsof 2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic acids. It shall have a 3.8 to 4 pounds of active acidequivalent per gallon and contain sufficient suitable emulsifying or sequestering agents tokeep the product uniformly dispersed when diluted in water. All 2,4-D must be labeledfor the post emergent of musk thistles at the rate of 1 ½ to 2 pounds per acre and fieldsbindweed at the rate of 1 to 2 pounds per acre.Picloram: Shall consist of 4-amino-3, 5,6-trichloropicolinic acid and potassium salt. Itshall have a 24.4% or 2 pounds if active acid equivalent per gallon and contain sufficientagents to keep the product uniformly dispensed when diluted with water.Triclopyr: shall consist of triclopy; 3,5.6-trichloro-2-pyridinyloxyacetic acid andbutoxyethyl ester. It shall have a 60.45% of active acid equivalent per gallon and containsufficient emulsifying or sequestering agents to keep the product uniformly dispensedand diluted with the water.Plateau: Shall consist of ammonium salt od imazapic (+-) -2-[4,5-dihydro-4-methyl-4-(1-methylethyl)-5oxo-1imidazol-2-yl]-5-methyl-3-pyyridinecarboxylic acid. It shall have23.6% active acid per gallon and contain sufficient emulsifying or sequestering agents tokeep the product uniformly dispensed when diluted with water.Glyphosate: Shall consist of N- (phosphonmethyl) glycine, in the form of itsisoprpylamine salt. It shall have at least 41.0% active acid equivalent per gallon andcontain sufficient emulsifying or sequestering agents to keep the product uniformlydispensed and diluted with water.TerraVue: Shall consist of dry flow able 2-pyridinecarboxylic acid,4-amino-3,6-dichloro-potassium salt---------71.01%Florpyrauxifen-benzyl:2-pyridinecarboxylic acid,4-amino-3-chloro-6-(4-chloro-2-fluoro-3-methoxy-phenyl)-5-fluoro-,phenyl methyl ester----6.00%PastureGuard: Shall consist of triclopr: 3,5,6-trichloro-2-pyridinyloxacetic acid,butoxyethyl ester and fluroxypyr: [(4-amino-3, 5-dichloro-6-fluropyridin-2-yl) oxy]acetic acid, 1-methylheptyl ester. It shall have a total of 33.6 % active ingredient pergallon and contain sufficient emulsifying or sequestering agents to keep the productuniformly dispensed when diluted in water.OutRider: Shall consist of dry flowable granule containing Sulfosulfuron 75% and25% other Ingredients:Control: All liquid materials will be subject to laboratory and field testing if they fail tomeet standards by settling out, mixing poorly, or plugging nozzles due to lack of properemulsifying agent or contaminate. Defective materials will be returned at the expense ofthe suppliers.
