Submissions containing zip files are not accepted by the City’s email server, therefore, will automatically be rejected. Proposals submitted to any other email account will not be considered as received by the City. Proposal shall be submitted sufficiently in advance of the Submission Deadline to allow for receipt by the City, as email transmission can be delayed due to high volumes of internet traffic, file transfer size, and transmission speeds. Proponents emailing proposals too close to the deadline, do so at their own risk. Summary Details This Request for Proposals is an invitation from the City of Dawson Creek to prospective proponents to submit a proposal for RFP 2024-11 Fixed Network Water Meter Reading Infrastructure. The City is in search of network infrastructure to be fixed in place at strategic locations to support the reading of approximately 5,245 water meters throughout the community. Existing meters are Neptune R900 radio technology with approximately seventy (70) that are touch pad technology, read using Neptune 360 software and Neptune belt clip receiver to read the meters. The City is seeking fixed network infrastructure that is compatible and works effectively with its existing meters and software. Full details for the project are described in the Deliverables and Scope of Work attached in Appendix A to this RFP.
