Purpose
The Quinault Tribal Court is seeking proposals from qualified massage therapists, wellness
practitioners, or related professionals to provide workplace wellness and stress-management
services during our Annual Staff Retreat.
Training will be held for 15 estimated participants between August 24th and 27th, 2026 in
Ridgefield, WA.
The Court anticipates scheduling wellness activities throughout the retreat and is open to
recommendations regarding service duration, participant flow, and scheduling structure.
The primary purpose of this opportunity is to support employee wellness by providing staff with
practical techniques and hands-on education designed to reduce workplace stress, relieve muscle
tension, improve physical well-being, and promote healthy self-care practices. The selected
provider will assist participants in learning strategies they can incorporate into their daily lives to
better manage the physical and emotional demands associated with public service, court
operations, and helping professions.
The Court is interested in creating a restorative and educational experience that emphasizes
wellness, resilience, and healthy stress-management practices.
Background
The Quinault Tribal Court employs professionals who routinely work in high-responsibility and
service-oriented roles. Staff members often encounter situations requiring sustained
concentration, emotional resilience, and prolonged periods of desk work, travel, meetings, and
public interaction.
As part of our annual retreat, the Court seeks to invest in employee well-being by offering
opportunities for staff to learn effective methods for recognizing and reducing stress-related
physical tension while encouraging long-term wellness practices.
