The project is funded through a grant agreement between Jefferson County and the Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office (RCO) Salmon Recovery Funding Board (SRFB). The primary deliverable is a construction-ready design package including all necessary local, state, and federal permit applications to restore critical spawning and rearing habitat for Hood Canal summer chum and Puget Sound Chinook salmon.
