Description: Bid Posting Date: October 30, 2024 Project: Abatement of 148 Gulkana Street Quotes Due: Quotes will be accepted until 4:30PM local time on  November 14, 2014 This project includes, but is not necessarily limited to: Clean up and removal of abandoned and broken equipment, clean up and removal of neglected machinery, removal of junked and abandoned vehicles, and proper demolition and removal to a proper disposal site the partially collapsed mobile home located at 148 Gulkana Street, Lot 11 Block 5. Any question regarding this project should be directed to Danial Plaster, Code Enforcement Officer , at this email Danial Plaster Quotes will be accepted until  430PM local time on November 14th, 2024 , via email to Dan Plaster . Questions can be directed to, Dan Plaster City of Valdez Project Manager, by email Bid documents may also be downloaded from the links below. The City reserves the right to waive any irregularities or informalities in a quote, to reject any and all quotes without cause, and to re-solicit for quotes. Current minimum prevailing wage rates as published by the Alaska Department of Labor must be paid if required by law. Requirements of the Alaska Employment Preference (AS 36.10) must be met. The City of Valdez encourages disadvantaged, minority and women-owned firms to respond and is available to assist said firms in learning how to do business with the City.
