Scope of Work:

Removal of four (4) existing steam boilers from kitchen cook-chill kettles, all associated utilities, drains, and flues. Connect existing kitchen cook-chill kettles to a new “house” steam system including new steam piping, condensate piping, steam traps, condensate receiver, flash tank etc. Install two (2) new steam boilers, condensate receiver, feedwater tank, boiler blowdown, all associated piping and appurtenances, boiler flues, etc. to provide one hundred (100) PSI steam to the existing cook-chill kettles.

Sealed bids for the Kettle Boiler Demolition and New Central Steam Boilers Installation at Nutrition Services will be received by the Washoe County School District’s (WCSD) Purchasing Department located at the Brown Center 14101 Old Virginia Road, Room #0, Reno, NV 89521, until 2:00 p.m., (Local Time) on November 18, 2025. The bids will be opened publicly via a TEAMS Meeting at 2:30 pm (local time).
