Description: The City of Morgantown requests statements of qualifications from architectural and engineering firms to provide professional services for design, bidding and construction administration and construction inspection services in connection with the City’s Chestnut Street Streetscapes Project. By extending the length of sidewalks, adding landscaping features, and installing new lighting, the initiative seeks to separate pedestrian and vehicular traffic while enhancing the overall aesthetic of the community. These improvements also aim to bolster storefronts and venues along Chestnut Street. Furthermore, the city is implementing these improvements with the hope of attracting new businesses to the area.
