Item Information Item # 1: ( 72-11 - 11 ) The Cambridge Housing Authority, as the Owner and Managing Agent for its affiliate properties, is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for renovation of two residential units at Newtowne Court in Cambridge, MA which will include drywall, insulation, kitchen replacement, bathroom replacement, flooring, doors, ceiling refinishing, painting and code compliance. The selected contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete this project with the specifications outlined in the scope of work and in accordance with the bid documents as written by the Cambridge Housing Authority. The awarded contractor will be responsible for providing complete source removal as well as coordinating hazardous material testing if required. The scope of work will include, but not limited to, Full interior gut renovation including drywall, insulation, kitchen replacement, bathroom replacement, flooring, doors, ceiling refinishing, painting, and code compliance. General bidders should be DCAMM certified in General Building Construction and contractors must be in business as a corporation or company for a minimum of five (5) years in order to be eligible.
