Description: The Town of Colchester Department of Public Works (herein called the “OWNER”) is accepting bids for one (1) Class 8, 35,000 GVWR minimum truck cab and chassis with dump body and plow equipment constructed and delivered as a complete unit consistent with the technical specifications contained in this request for proposals.  BIDS will be received by the OWNER at 781 Blakely Road, Colchester, VT 05446 until January 3, 2025 at 1:00 PM, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. Each BID must be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to Ken Nichols, at Department of Public Works, Town of Colchester, 781 Blakely Road, VT 05446.  Each sealed envelope containing a BID must be plainly marked on the outside as BID for Department of Public Works Plow Truck and Equipment.
