CALL FOR BIDSNotice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the City of Redmond, Washington, nolater than 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2026, for the construction of NE 70th StreetCrosswalk, Project No. 2209. The Subcontractor List must be submitted with the bid packagewithin the deadline listed above. The bids will immediately thereafter be opened and publiclyread. Bid Proposals received after the deadline will not be considered.All bids shall be submitted following the instructions outlined in Section 1-02.9. The bid openingwill be held via Microsoft Teams Live Event about 11:30 a.m. to allow time to download the bids.Prior to the bid opening, the link to the webcast will be provided on BXWA and the City’swebsite at redmond.gov/bids (in the bid item for this project).The Work to be performed shall include: Construction of a new crosswalk across the north legof the Redmond Way and NE 70th Street intersection, including but not limited to reconstructionof sidewalks, curb ramps, and pavements; paving a new traffic island in the intersection;modifications to a traffic signal system; illumination system, including poles, foundations,conduits, junction boxes, and wiring; and traffic control and detour routing and other worknecessary to complete the project.
