Description: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of said City invites and will receive sealed proposals (bids) up to the hour of 2:00 p.m. on June 5, 2025, for the furnishing to said City of all transportation, labor, materials, tools, equipment, services, permits, utilities, and other items necessary to construct said work. At said time, said proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud at the office of the City, 1015 Eleventh Avenue Delano, California 93215 Bids shall conform to and be responsive to the Contract Documents for the work. MANDATORY Pre-job walk will be held on May 20th, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at The Delano Municipal Airport, 1212 Airport Drive, Delano, CA 93215. General Description of Work The scope of work includes the removal and replacement of the existing asphalt pavement in the airport parking lot located adjacent to the airport lobby. In addition, the project encompasses the removal and replacement of two existing security gates situated at the south end of the airport property. This includes the installation of a new card access control system to ensure secure entry and compliance with access protocols. This project is funded, in whole or in part, by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and is therefore subject to all applicable FAA regulations, standards, and guidelines. All work must be performed in accordance with these federal requirements to ensure compliance and eligibility for funding. Engineers’ Estimate: $350k to $400k.
