THE TOWNSHIP OF WEST ORANGE, NEW JERSEY

SNOW PLOWING, SALTING, REMOVAL AND SNOW HAULING SERVICES FOR 2025/2026 SEASON

The Township of West Orange, New Jersey, County of Essex, is seeking companies to perform SNOW PLOWING, SALTING, REMOVAL AND SNOW HAULING SERVICES FOR 2025/2026 SEASON with the options for two (2) one (1) year extensions. Bid forms may be obtained during regular business hours, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm M-F, at the 66 Main Street, room 111 West orange, NJ 07052 or you can email a request to For security reasons, you must enable JavaScript to view this E-mail address. .   Sealed bids will be received in the Council Chambers, Room 116, Municipal Building, 66 Main Street, West Orange, New Jersey 07052 on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at 11:30 A.M. local prevailing time.  Sealed bids may also be delivered to the Office of the Purchasing Agent, Room 111, Municipal Building, 66 Main Street, West Orange, New Jersey 07052, provided the bid is received prior to the day, date and time listed above.  The submission deadline is Tuesday, August 05, 2025 at 11:30 A.M. and they will be publicly opened and read at that time in the Council Chambers on the same day.   Bids received after that time will not be accepted. Bidders are required to comply with the Affirmative Action pursuant to N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27, and have a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate P.L. 2004. Each bidder shall provide a Certified Check or Cashier’s Check or Bid Bond for ten percent (10%) of the bid but not to exceed $20,000 or be less than $500.00. Successful bidders upon the award of a contract will be required to submit a performance bond for 100% of the award amount.  Bidders will also be required to complete and return other documents identified within the bid materials. Failure to comply with Instructions to bidders and to complete and submit all required forms may be cause for disqualification and rejection of bid.

All Bidders must have a valid Business Registration Certificate issued by the New Jersey Division of Revenue, PL 2004 c.57 (NJSA 52:32-44) and NJSA 40A: 11-23.2, at time of Bid opening.

Simultaneously with the submission of bids, the corporation or partnership so bidding will furnish a statement setting forth the names and addresses of all stockholders in the corporation or partnership who own ten percent (10%) or greater therein pursuant to Chapter 33, P.L. 1977, bids will be REJECTED If they do not contain this disclosure statement.

All Bidders must register with the State of New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development as a Public Works Contractor.
