Event Description

The South Dakota Department of the Military is soliciting Statements of Interest from firms interested in providing professional Architecture/Engineering services for the above referenced project. This project scope will involve site investigative, design development, and bidding services for the following project scope:

Replace approximately 30,000 sf of roof area to include four flat roof sections and a barrel roof section over Fort Meade Building 68. The barrel roof recently sustained damage during a storm event which has been temporarily repaired. The selected A/E shall develop construction plans and specifications shall detailing the full removal of the existing roofing systems to the roof deck and installation of a new fully adhered EPDM roofing system. The current estimated construction cost for this project is $872K, which is subject to change based on available funding.

A technical review committee will review the submissions and select the firm based on the criteria shown above. The committee respectfully requests that statements of interest be limited to 20 pages or less. Interested firms shall submit an electronic copy via email no later than 4:00 PM, MT, July 23, 2025.
