NOTICE OF SOLICITATION OF BIDSThe CITY OF OAKLAND, acting by and through its BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS (the“Port”), will receive Bids per the provisions of Document 00200, Instructions to Bidders, Paragraph20, Bid Submission, until 12:00 noon on Friday, June 26, 2026, for the following public work:FURNISHING LABOR, MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENTFOR THE FABRICATION, INSTALLATION, AND MAINTENANCE OFSMALL FULL TRASH CAPTURE DEVICES INPORT OF OAKLAND STORM DRAINSFOR THE PERIOD COMMENCING AUGUST 1, 2026AND ENDING JULY 31, 2027, 2028 OR 2029Refer to Document 00200 for required documents and items to be included in the Bid.The Work of this contract generally consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, andincidentals necessary for fabricating, installing, and providing one year’s maintenance for up to 750small Full Trash Capture (FTC) devices in the Port Maritime and Airport Business Park areas, andperforming all associated work, all in accordance with the Contract Documents.The estimated total annual cost for the work to be performed under this contract is $330,000. Thenot-to-exceed amount for the contract over its three-year term will be determined by the Board attime of award.A California Class A contractor's license is required prior to award of this Contract. Joint venturesmust secure a joint venture license prior to award of this Contract.No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal or awarded any contract for theproject unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) pursuant to Labor Codesection 1725.5, with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under LaborCode section 1771.1(a).Effective January 1, 2024, amendments to California Air Resources Board (CARB) In-Use Off-RoadDiesel-Fueled Fleets Regulation require the Port to obtain valid Certificates of Reported Compliance(CRC) from all contractors and listed subcontractors before awarding the Project. Bidders mustsubmit the required CRCs as provided in Document 00200, Instructions to Bidders.The Port will conduct a mandatory pre-bid meeting at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2026. Themeeting will be conducted via Zoom videoconferencing.
