Scope of Services
The purpose of this Invitation to Bid (ITB) is to solicit competitive sealed bids from experienced and qualified Respondents to provide intercom systems and components for The School Board of Citrus County, Florida (“CCSB”) at firm, fixed unit prices on an as-needed basis for the contract period as specified herein.
The scope of this solicitation requires that the awarded Respondent(s) be responsible for supplying various equipment, repair parts, and materials for specified manufacturer’s intercom systems that are common and necessary to the operations of a K-12 school facility. Work under this contract shall also include the provision of qualified service labor to supplement those services which cannot be performed in-house including, but not limited to, repairs, replacements, service (inspection, certification, troubleshooting, etc.), and new installations necessary to maintain intercom systems in optimal operation and reliable condition, and for the upgrading of system equipment as budget permits. Services under this contract may vary significantly in scope and size and be scheduled on an irregular basis at any school and support facility within the district.
Intercom manufacturers currently represented in the district include Bogen and CareHawk.
Awarded Contractor shall furnish all qualified labor, supervision, technical expertise, specialized components, equipment, tools, trade accessories, materials, fuel, transportation, delivery, etc. necessary to successfully perform work as described herein at various school sites and facilities district-wide as required by CCSB.
