NOTICE TO BIDDERSNOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bids will be received for the Contract OSTOMY, TRACHESTOMY, UROLOGICAL, ENTERAL SUPPLIES SERVICES AND ENTERAL FEEDING FORMULAS 26-026-DCC on or before May 27, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. Solicitation documents, including specifications, may be obtained by email at henry.kocker@dupagecounty.gov or at www.DemandStar.com . All Bids must be received prior to the date and time shown above.
Electronic signatures are allowed, and Bids do not have to be notarized. The County accepts no responsibility for transmission failures or content omissions. Bids transmitted in person, by mail or by facsimile (“Fax”) will not be accepted.STATEMENT OF WORK
BID EVENT ACTIVITYDuPage County (“County”) Care Center is seeking bidders to furnish and deliver Ostomy, Tracheostomy, Enteral Feeding Formulas, and Urological Supplies (Medicare Part B) including associated services for its nursing facility located at 400 N. County Farm Road, Wheaton, IL 60187.
Awarded bidder shall provide residents with medical supplies, specifically Enteral (including Enteral feeding formula), Ostomy, Tracheostomy and Urological supplies, in accordance with the provisions of Medicare Part B and related Medicaid regulations as ordered by a resident’s physician or other appropriate caregiver.
For effective administration and implementation of services, awarded bidder shall:
- Visit bi-weekly to check inventory.
- Collect data from charts, track usage, work with Nursing staff, Dietitian, and Doctors for supply and billing purposes.
- Compile necessary data from existing records.
- Deliver one (1) month’s supply of stock for qualified Medicare Part B residents or more frequently as necessary as determined by new resident admissions or change in status.
- Bill separately and collect for supplies provided to the facility for the benefit of Medicare Part B residents and agrees to accept assignment of benefits for supplies provided to Medicare Part B residents.
- Pursue coinsurance and deductible amounts permitted to be billed under the terms of such assignment of benefits.
