Description: WHITEHALL POLICE STATION BASEMENT SHOWER RENOVATION CITY OF WHITEHALL WHITEHALL, OHIO PROJECT NUMBER: 2025-04 PROJECT DESCRIPTION Sealed proposals for the City of Whitehall, Police Basement Shower Renovation project will be received by the City via BidExpress until 1:00 pm, local time, on September 22nd, 2025. At that time and place, the bids will be publicly opened. The City of Whitehall may choose not to award the bid until 30 days after the bid opens. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: Project consists of demoing the existing basement restrooms, the addition of EF-3 and ductwork serving the lower level restrooms, replacement of all plumbing fixtures in the new shower rooms in the basement, rework plumbing in the basement shower rooms to include the new showers, add new water heater and recirculating pump to the basement mechanical room, and connect all new equipment to the BAS system. All work is to be completed under a General Contract. The completion date for all work under this project is January 1, 2026. The total estimated cost of the Base Bid is $250,000.00. The Bidder will be required to state in full detail, with his Proposal, his experience in this class of work; bids from contractors inexperienced in this particular class of work will not be considered. This project requires payment of prevailing wages to all workers during the course of construction activities. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on public improvements in Franklin County and the City of Whitehall, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division, (614) 644-2239. State of Ohio prevailing wage rates are included in the Contract Documents and prospective bidders shall take them into account in preparing bids. The City of Whitehall, Ohio, reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
