The OHA’s mission is “Tomālama (protect) Hawaiʻi’s people and environmental resources and the OHA’s assetstoward ensuring the perpetuation of the culture, the enhancement of lifestyle, and theprotection of entitlements of Native Hawaiians while enabling the building of a strongand healthy Hawaiian people and nation, recognized nationally and internationally.”The OHA seeks to competitively procure and engage a qualified entity to update itsstewardship contract at the Waialua Courthouse to expand property managementservices, including handling utilities, managing repairs, and conducting revenue-generating activities for a commission.A determination has been made that the OHA is unable to secure these services through alow bid process. To that end, a low bid processis not practicable. This RFP is issued under the provisions of Chapter 103D, HRS, as amended, and itscompanion administrative rules.
