Voter Registration and Elections (VRE) requires E-Poll Book Encoder Stabilizer Brackets to secure and stabilize encoding hardwate used with DeKalb County's electronic poll books (PollPads) during voter check-in. The brackets help prevent physical disconnections, reduce hardware movement and wear, and minimize connection-related errors that can interrupt voter processing. Reliable hardware connections are particularly important during high-volume voting periods, when equipment disruptions may create check-in delays and operational bottlenecks.
