Project Description: The West Ada School District (the "District" or "WASD") is the largest school district in the state of Idaho with 40,000 students and 58 school sites (34 elementary, 11 middle schools, 12 high schools and 1 K-12 school). The District covers 382 square miles and is contained within 8 municipalities ((2) Counties: Ada County, Canyon County and (6) Cities: Boise, Meridian, Star, Eagle, Nampa & Kuna).
West Ada School District (WASD) is seeking information from qualified companies specializing in the assessment, design, maintenance, and modernization of school auditorium facilities. The district operates seven (7) full-sized auditoriums and aims to establish an ongoing maintenance and modernization program to ensure these spaces remain functional, safe, and conducive to supporting educational and community events.
The purpose of this RFI is to gather information to identify companies with expertise, capacity, and interest in providing these services. This RFI does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals, nor will a contract be awarded directly from this request. Responses will be used to inform a potential future procurement process.
The District is interested in companies that can provide services in one or more of the following areas: Auditorium Assessments, Design & Engineering, Maintenance Programs, and Supply & Installation.
The District will review submitted responses to identify companies with the capabilities to support our auditorium maintenance and modernization program. Based on this review, the district may issue a formal Request for Proposals (RFP), Request for Statement of Qualifications (RFSP), or initiate discussions with selected companies for further engagement.
This RFI is for informational purposes only and does not obligate the West Ada School District to issue an RFP, RFSP, or award a contract. The District will not reimburse respondents for any costs associated with the preparation or submission of responses.
We appreciate your interest in partnering with West Ada School District to enhance our auditorium facilities. Should you have any questions regarding this RFI, please ask the question in the "Messages" tab under "Vendor Discussion" during the Q&A period.
