NOTICE INVITING BIDSThe City of Stockton, California, will receive sealed bids until Thursday, December 11, 2025, 2:00 p.m.,for the Fire Co. 2 Emergency Communications Division Remodel Phase 1 in accordance with the plansand specifications for Project No. OM-26-011. Each bid submitted for this project shall be on the officialbid form obtained from the City of Stockton web site at www.stocktonca.gov/pwbid, and must conform tothe requirements of the official bid documents, including the plans and specifications. Each bid shall bepresented under sealed cover and shall be accompanied by the Bidder's Guaranty, Non-CollusionDeclaration, and all of the required documents and information. Each bidder shall be licensed in accordancewith applicable State laws.All bidders shall be licensed under the provisions of Chapter 9, Division 3 of the Business andProfessions Code of the State of California. The Contractor shall possess a valid license at the time the bidis submitted and retain the license through the duration of the project. Failure to possess the specifiedlicense shall render the bid as non-responsive. The successful Contractor shall obtain a City of Stocktonbusiness license prior to contract execution and retain the license through the duration of the project.Each sealed bid shall be marked "BID" and shall indicate the project name, number, and bidopening date, and shall be mailed or delivered to the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 425 N. El DoradoStreet, Stockton, California 95202, so that the bid is received by the City at or before the hour stated. Bidsso received shall be publicly opened, examined and declared by the City Clerk. Bidders and the public areinvited to be present at the declaration of said bids. A bid received after the specified time shall not beaccepted and will be returned to the bidder.Bidders are hereby notified that the successful bidder and any subcontractor under them shall payprevailing wage rates in accordance with the State of California Department of Industrial Relations.A contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder as defined in the Stockton MunicipalCode; provided, however, that the City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to re-advertise for bids or to provide for the work to be done by the City of Stockton.The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Labor and Material Bond and a FaithfulPerformance Bond, each in the sum of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Said bonds shallbe furnished by a company authorized to issue surety bonds in the State of California.
