Description: The City of Union City seeks to develop a list of qualified environmental review consultants to prepare and process environmental review documentation for development projects and long-rang planning initiatives pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and/or the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). Based on responses to this Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”), it is the intent of the Economic and Community Development Department to create a pre-qualified list of consultants from which the Planning Division will choose prospective consultants for City-sponsored and privately-sponsored projects requiring environmental review expertise. The City anticipates selecting at least two consultants for the list. The anticipated term for this list is four years. However, the City maintains the right to revise the list at any point in time. The City will provide an opportunity for the consultants on the Environmental Analysis Prequalified Consultant List to update their hourly rates every two years.
