Overview

Summary

Greenville County is seeking vendors for on-site data storage device (Hard drives, tapes, disks, etc.) destruction that comply with listed standards and certifications. Services are expected to reoccur as needed.

Background

The County has accumulated a backlog of approximately 1,200 hard drives awaiting destruction due to prior operational constraints. In addition, the Agency generates an estimated 200–400 drives annually through normal equipment lifecycle replacement. The resulting contract must address both the initial backlog clearance and ongoing recurring destruction needs throughout the contract term.
