Description: ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS/PUBLIC NOTICE TO BIDDERS Sealed bids will be received at the office of the Ashtabula County Board of Commissioners, c/o Lisa Hawkins, Clerk, 2nd Floor Old Courthouse, 25 West Jefferson Street, Jefferson, Ohio 44047 until 3:30 p.m. on July 28, 2026 and publicly opened thereafter in the Commissioners’ Conference Room at the above address for: JEFFERSON BOOSTER STATION REPLACEMENT WSRLA, OPWC AND ARC FUNDED PROJECT OPINION OF PROBABLE CONSTRUCTION COST:  $1,976,000.00 COMPLETION DATE:  570 DAYS FROM NOTICE TO PROCEED The bid specifications, drawings, plan holders list, addenda, and other bid information (but not the bid forms) may be viewed and/or downloaded for free via the internet at https://bids.verdantas.com .  The bidder shall be responsible to check for Addenda and obtain same from the web site. This project will be funded by the Water Supply Revolving Loan Account Program as administered by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency and the Ohio Water Development Authority.  The Contractor shall note that there are Disadvantaged Business Enterprise participation goals for this project. This procurement is subject to the EPA policy on encouraging the participation of small business in rural areas (SBRAs). OHIO PREFERENCE:  In accordance with Ohio Rev. Code §164.05 (A)(6), to the extent practicable, the Prime Contractor and subcontractor shall use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in connection with this project. STEEL PRODUCTS MADE IN THE UNITED STATES: Domestic steel use requirements as specified in Ohio Rev.
