CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY HOUSING & HOMELESS TASK FORCE OPENINGS


The City of Spokane Valley seeks one individual for the City of Spokane Valley’s Housing and Homeless Task Force to serve an unexpired term through Dec. 31, 2027. This individual must have experience in behavioral health/Spokane Regional Health, healthcare provider, or philanthropy. The purpose of the Task Force is to study and make recommendations to the mayor and city council for future housing and homeless plans within the City of Spokane Valley. Potential members of the Task Force are nominated by the mayor and active Task Force members and confirmed by a majority vote of at least four members of the city council. Task Force members shall be selected without respect to political affiliations and shall serve without compensation. Members that work or reside within the City of Spokane Valley are given preference. The Task Force generally meets at 3:00 p.m. on the 4th Thursday. Applications may be obtained from the City’s website at http://www.spokanevalleywa.gov/volunteer or by contacting Marci Patterson, City Clerk, 509-720-5102. Applications should be submitted to Marci Patterson, and received no later than 4:00 p.m., Friday, July 31, 2026.
