Notice is hereby given that bids will be received using the MRSC Small Works Roster until 12:00 P.M., local

Project Location 20 South Davies Rd, Lake Stevens, WA 98258.


The project consists of the decking replacement, select timber member replacement, adding timber joists,

and other minor construction to accomplish the replacement. Elements of the project include

mobilization, demolition and disposal of existing decking, installation of select timber members, and

installation of a combination of grating and timber decking.


The engineer’s estimate for this project is $200,000. Please address any comments and question to Jill

at 12:00 PM. All questions and responses will be posted to the project website on July 28, 2026, by 12:00

PM. Free-of-charge access to project bid documents (plans specifications, addenda and bidders list) can be found

on the bid page on City of Lake Stevens website https://www.lakestevenswa.gov/bids.aspx .


Disclaimer The City of Lake Stevens reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any immaterial

irregularities or informalities in the bid or in the bidding. No bidder may withdraw its bid after the hour

set for the opening thereof or before award of contract, unless said award is delayed for a period of sixty

(60) days. The City further reserves the right to make the bid award as deemed in the best interest of the

City. The issuance of this RFB does not obligate the City to award a contract or pay any costs incurred by

respondents in the preparation and submission of their quotations.


Title VI Statement The City of Lake Stevens, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78

Stat.252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4, Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation,

Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally assisted programs of the

Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, and RCW 49.60.180(1) hereby notifies all

bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement,

disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit

bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color,

national origin, sex or sexual orientation in consideration for an award. During the performance of this

Agreement, the consultant shall comply with all federal, state, and local nondiscrimination laws,

regulations and policies, this shall include but not be limited to the following: consultant shall not

discriminate on the bases enumerated at RCW 49.60.530(3). In addition, the consultant shall give written

notice of this nondiscrimination requirement to any labor organizations or service provider with which the

consultant has a collective bargaining or other agreement.
