INFORMAL WRITTEN QUOTE

Gwinnett County is soliciting competitive informal written Quotes from qualified vendors for the

Purchase and Delivery of a Treadmill and Elliptical for the Department of Fire and Emergency Services.

Quotes should be typed or submitted in ink and returned to the Attention of Casey Beauston, Purchasing

Associate III. Quotes should be received by 3:00 P.M. on April 16, 2026, via email at

casey.beauston@gwinnettcounty.com, by fax (770-822-8735), or sent to the Gwinnett County Financial

Services - Purchasing Division – 2nd Floor, 75 Langley Drive, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30046.

Successful vendor will be required to meet insurance requirements. The Insurance Company should be

authorized to do business in Georgia by the Georgia Insurance Department and must have an A.M. Best

rating of A-7 or higher.

Gwinnett County does not discriminate on the basis of disability in the admission or access to its

participate in any open meeting, program or activity of Gwinnett County Government should be directed

The written Quote documents supersede any verbal or written prior communications between the

parties.

Award will be made to the vendor submitting the lowest responsive and responsible Quote. Gwinnett

County reserves the right to reject any or all Quotes, to waive technicalities, and to make an award

deemed in its best interest. Quotes may be split or awarded in entirety. Gwinnett County reserves the

option to negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with the lowest responsive, responsible bidder(s) at

its discretion.

I. Delivery and Notes

A. Delivery will occur at multiple locations throughout Gwinnett County. Locations do NOT

have a loading dock. Delivery vehicle(s) must be equipped to allow for forklift offloading,

such as a liftgate and/or pallet jack, as needed.

• 1 Treadmill: Fire Station #2, 12 Harmony Grove Road, Lilburn, GA 30047

• 1 Elliptical: Fire Station #22, 2180 Stone Drive, Lilburn, GA 30047

B. Delivery must be pre-arranged. Contact information will be provided on purchase order to

successful vendor.

C. Delivery hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 P.M. EST Monday through Friday. Deliveries are not

accepted on weekends or federal holidays.

D. Bonds are not required.

A. Unit price should include all associated fees, including but not limited to shipping, delivery, labor, loading/unloading, installation, and

removal/disposal of old equipment.

B. The use of brand name is not for restrictive purposes or to limit competition, but to assist vendors in determining the standard of quality

Gwinnett County is seeking. It is understood that items matching or exceeding the quality level are also acceptable. Gwinnett County shall be

the sole determinant of acceptability of all approved equivalents. It is the vendor’s responsibility to prove equivalent products match or exceed

the quality level of the product(s) specified.

C. Equivalent(s) quoted should meet or exceed the specifications in the Quote Schedule.

D. If product differs from description(s) in Quote Schedule, vendor should supply specifications/cut sheets for the product being used prior

to award.

E. Successful vendor will be required to provide a valid Certificate of Insurance per the attached requirements.

F. Successful vendor will be required to complete and return the attached Contractor Affidavit and Agreement.

By executing this affidavit, the undersigned contractor verifies its compliance with The Illegal Immigration Reform

Enhancements for 2013, stating affirmatively that the individual, firm, or corporation which is contracting with the Gwinnett

County Board of Commissioners has registered with and is participating in a federal work authorization program* [any of

the electronic verification of work authorization programs operated by the United States Department of Homeland Security

or any equivalent federal work authorization program operated by the United States Department of Homeland Security] to

verify information of newly hired employees, pursuant to the Immigration Reform and Control Act, in accordance with the

applicability provisions and deadlines established therein.
