ADDENDUM #1 - LOT MOWING FOR CODE COMPLIANCE – ANNUAL CONTRACT
To: All Interested Quoters
Quoters are hereby notified that this Addendum shall be made a part of the above named quote documents. The following items are
issued to add to, modify, and clarify the quote documents. These items shall have the same force and effect as the original quote
documents. Quote Forms, to be submitted on the specified date, shall conform with the additions, deletions and revisions listed herein.
ITEM #1
DUE DATE EXTENSION: Please be advised that the due date for this solicitation has been extended to
December 11th. This adjustment is intended to provide all vendors additional time to review the updated estimated
quantities below and ensure your submissions reflect the most accurate information.
If you wish to resubmit your proposal, please delete your previous submittal and upload the revised version.
Alternatively, if you would prefer that we delete your prior submission on your behalf, please let me know and I will
be happy to take care of it for you.
ITEM #2
QUESTION / ANSWER:
Q1. What are the number of anticipated requests for the months November, December, January, February,
March, April, May and June based on historical data?
A1. Based on this year’s cases, the average number of grass complaints we had in the months of
June through September was 90 each month. Outside of this time frame the numbers drop
drastically to approx. a dozen each month, if that. However, all of these numbers are dependent
on the weather and as the contract states “exact quantities cannot be determined at this time”.
Q2. Regarding removal and disposal of clippings, is this statement limited to the clippings in the locations
listed in paragraph 11? Do clippings on the mowed lawn remain on the mowed lawn where placed by the
mower? Therefore no raking and removal required?
A2. Grass clippings do not need to be removed from the grass.
Quoters are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum on their quote forms. All other terms and conditions of the original quote
and contract documents remain the same.
