August 31, 2023NOTICE OF BIDFORBL130-25Gwinnett County Detention Center Employee Parking and Security Upgrades ProjectThe Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualifiedcontractors for the Gwinnett County Detention Center Employee Parking and Security Upgrades Project.Sealed bids will be received by the Gwinnett County Purchasing Division, 75 Langley Drive, Lawrenceville,Georgia 30046 until 2:50 P.M. local time on October 17, 2025 and then publicly opened and read aloud at3:00 P.M. Any bid received after 2:50 P.M. will not be accepted. Bid envelope should be marked on theoutside with Bid Number, name of Bidder, date and time of opening. One unbound original and two (2)copies should be submitted.The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, the redesign of the existing employee parking lotto provide new ADA-compliant and parallel spaces, resurfacing and re-striping of the lot, installation ofnew security fencing and gates, and implementation of upgraded security systems, including camerasand access controls. A five percent (5%) bid bond must be submitted with the bid.Successful contractor will be required to provide a one hundred percent (100%) payment and onehundred percent (100%) performance bond as well as an insurance certificate fulfillingrequirements as stated in the bid documents.
