1412211678 (RFP) Design Services for the Buckman WRF Upgrades

JEA is soliciting qualifications for professional engineering and permitting services for the Buckman Water Reclamation Facility Upgrades. The Buckman Water Reclamation Facility needs some significant infrastructure upgrades. Below is a list of the various facilities that need to be either rehabilitated or constructed:

•        Influent Pump Station Rehabilitation
•        Primary Clarifiers 1-8 Structural Rehabilitation
•        Talleyrand Ave Lift Station Rehabilitation
•        Vacuum Truck Unloading Facility (Dewatering Pad) Upgrade & Expansion
•        Potable Water and Gravity Sewer Improvements
•        Sludge Receiving Pump Station
•        Grit Removal System Improvements

For further information on the work please refer to the Scope of Services for Engineering Design Services for the Buckman WRF Upgrades.

The scope for the work may include, but is not limited to:
•        Surveys
•        Geotechnical investigations
•        Process modeling and hydraulic modeling
•        Design bypass system, drawings and specifications
•        Permitting activities and applications for construction
•        Site work including stormwater, paving, grading, and landscaping design
•        All supporting discipline design including structural, architectural, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical and I&C
•        Services during construction

•        Coordination with CMAR firm who will be responsible for constructing the improvements
•        Compliance with the JEA project delivery management system including design phase drawings, specifications, and calculations.
