The as-read on-line bid results will be available at www.questcdn.com following the bid opening.Project DescriptionProject Category Code: Culverts, Waterways, Stormwater Channels, Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements, Water/Wastewater Infrastructure, Water and Wastewater Facilities Description: The Project includes the furnishing of all labor and materials for the construction complete in-place of the Eastern Water Treatment Plant, a granular activated carbon (GAC) and ion exchange (IX) drinking water treatment plant for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and Nitrate removal. Additional Description: The provisions of MINN. STAT. 16C.285 Responsible Contractor are imposed as a requirement of this contract. All bidders and persons or companies providing a response/submission to the Advertisement for Bids of the City of Hastings shall comply with the provisions of the statute.
Bids will only be accepted via the electronic bidding service through QuestCDN.
The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bids received without explanation. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days.
The Bidder as a company shall have experience as a general contractor in the successful construction of at least three (3) municipal potable water treatment plants as described below with a minimum treatment capacity of three million gallons per day (3 MGD) within five (5) years prior to the bid opening date. This treatment plant construction experience must include furnishing and installing all of the following from the ground up: a new building, filtration, chemical feed systems, process piping and valves, pumps, and electrical instrumentation and controls. Wastewater treatment plant construction experience does not meet the minimum contractor qualifications specified herein. The designated process/mechanical and electrical subcontractors must also meet the above stated requirements for their portions of the work on this project.
The granular activated carbon (GAC) adsorption pressure filter vessel system manufacturer and ion exchange (IX) pressure filter vessel system manufacturer shall have experience in the successful fabrication of vessels for at least three (3) municipal potable water treatments plants with a minimum treatment capacity of one million gallons per day (1 MGD) within five (5) years prior to the bid opening date.Primary Contact InformationOwner Details
