ITB 25-007 - 2026 City of Doraville Comprehensive Plan Update

PURPOSE
The City of Doraville has issued this ITB for the purpose of obtaining services to update the City's Comprehensive Plan.


GOALS

Doraville is a growing city and strives to manage this growth as effectively as possible while providing excellent service to its existing residents and businesses. Priorities include:

• • Creating a safer, more walkable city.
  • Providing better, safer connectivity within Doraville and to the larger metro region.
  • Prioritizing maintenance and repair of existing infrastructure.
  • Reducing car dependency.

This update includes much more than the typical Comprehensive Plan. There are several reasons for this, both practical and principled.

• • Reduce the number of disparate plans and policy documents used to make decisions.
  • Foster better cooperation between City staff, elected officials, and residents, and avoid silos of specializations and subject matter experts.
  • Engender more holistic thinking on the part of staff and elected officials when making decisions regarding allocation of resources, grant writing, planning, and staffing.

Date for Receipt of Questions:	June 6, 2025
Addendum Issued for Questions:	June 13, 2025
Proposals Due:	June 27, 2025 (by 12:00pm) **
Selection Committee Recommendation:	By July 25, 2025
Doraville City Council Award:	August 13, 2025
Expected Contract Execution:	August 15, 2025
