Stone County School DistrictNotice to Vendors/ContractorsOccupational Therapy/ Physical TherapySpeech and Language Therapy and Behavior ServicesRequest for Quotes/ProposalsPurposeThe Stone County School District (SCSD) is soliciting competitive quotes or proposals for services during the 2026-2027 school year to ensureeffective services to support the needs of our students. Proposals shall be submitted via email until April 14, 2026 with attention to:Stone County School DistrictAmy Stampley, Director of Special Services/ Chief Academic Officerastampley@stoneschools.orgProject ScopeThe goal of the SCSD is to provide resources to strengthen the quality and effectiveness of teachers and staff. Scheduling will be determined byadministration according to the need at each location.1) Work collaboratively with the local admin at each school to schedule support services.2) Work collaboratively with the Director of Special Services, Related Services Coordinator and/or the MET Chair at each school location todetermine and schedule supports and services.3) Ensure that the quality of services provided meets all federal guidelines for students with an IEP if applicable. Behavior services will servestudents with and without an IEP. Target Area(s)Behavior Support ServicesSpeech/ Language ServicesOccupational and Physical Therapy ServicesLocation(s)All locationsAll locationsAll locationsService days requested80 days (2 per week and 8 additional PD days)As needed to cover caseload (equivalent to full-time services)As needed to cover caseload (equivalent to full-time services)Qualifications of VendorsSCSD intends to work only with vendors that satisfy and furnish evidence of the requisite qualifications and experience to successfully complete thescope of work described herein.SCSD prefers in-person services when possible as opposed to virtual services. Priority for in-person availability will be awarded accordingly.Instructions to VendorsProposals should contain an overview of:1) The vendor’s service of delivery model; 2) The vendor’s price per day; 3) Names and resumes of consultants providing services; 4) Evidence of success in improving academic achievement in other school districts.5) Scientific-based research to support the services provided.Proposals will be considered in the order they are received. Notification of acceptance will be by letter distributed via email. The district shallconsider the following:1) The purchase price and long-term cost to achieve sustainability of services;2) The reputation and quality of the vendor and of the vendor's goods or services;3) The extent to which the services meet the district's needs;4) The vendor's past relationship with the district; and5) Any other relevant factor specifically listed in the request for quotes or proposals.Additional InformationPlease note that these services are federally funded. Any services agreed upon by the vendor and the school district are contingent upon receipt offederal funding.Expectation for providers of any and all services to provide regular progress updates to track improvement and to drive adjustments to therapy asneeded.Assurance of provider’s availability for appointments, therapy sessions, and accessibility to provider whether in-person or via teletherapy options.Special Terms and ConditionsIn the event the consultant is unable to provide the contracted services and a mutually andan acceptable alternative cannot be arranged, the contract can be terminated with written notification by either party.The person or entity submitting an offer must give notice to the district, at the time of offer submission, if the person or owner or operator of thebusiness entity has been convicted of a felony or is listed on the state or federal suspension and debarment list.Information about the district can be obtained at www.stoneschools.org and https://msrc.mdek12.org/.Please direct all questions via email to astampley@stoneschools.org or call 601-928-7247.
