Scope of Work:

Remove and replace one of the service entrance switchgears. The second service entrance shall remain un-modified. The service replacement shall be a 'like for like' replacement, with new provisions for a 600a/3p frame breaker. Relocation of a gas line above the service entrance is required.

Sealed bids for the Replacement of the Main Switchgear at Veterans Memorial Elementary School will be received by the Washoe County School District’s (WCSD) Purchasing Department located at the Brown Center 14101 Old Virginia Road, Room #0, Reno, NV 89521, until 2:00 p.m., (Local Time) on April 15, 2026. The bids will be opened publicly via a TEAMS Meeting at 2:30 pm (local time).

There will be a NON-MANDATORY Pre-Bid Meeting held at 3:30 p.m. on March 31, 2026, at Veterans Memorial Elementary School (Meet in Front of the Office) 1200 Locust Street, Reno, NV 89502. Due to access and coordination involved in this project we highly recommend that contractors walk the project site that we are making available.
