SummaryPursuant to the Port St. Lucie City Code of Ordinance 35.07, this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is being issued to establish a contract with a qualified proposer who will provide Green River Parkway Trail from Walton Road to Martin County Line to the City of Port St. Lucie (hereinafter, “City”) as further described in this IFB.
The City of Port St. Lucie (City) requires Construction Services for the rehabilitation of the Green River Parkway Trail from Walton Rd. to the Martin County Line. The improvements will be described in a project plan set not yet prepared.
BackgroundThe Green River Parkway Trail is an existing 10-foot-wide asphalt path with a designated right-of-way of 10 feet on either side, covering approximately 9.6 acres. The corridor runs parallel to SE Green River Parkway, bordered by a residential neighborhood to the west and the Savannas Preserve State Park to the east. The purpose of this project is to enhance the trail for public recreational use by implementing improvements such as resurfacing, saw-cutting, and repairing damaged sections of the existing trail.
