Mountain Rescue Building Geothermal Test Well
Details Due Date: 10/24/2024 2:00 pm Bidding Number: RFP-108-24 Bidding Categories: Public Works Pre-bid Date and Time: 10/10/2024 9:00 am Pre-bid Location: An optional Pre-Proposal meeting will be held October 10th, at 9:00 AM., 3720 Walnut St, Boulder, CO 80301.
Other Comments: The new Mountain Rescue Building will utilize a Ground Source heat pump mechanical system. Several Geothermal wells will be required for this system. To gauge the overall performance of the site for geothermal, one test well is proposed to illustrate the thermal conductivity of the specific geology of the site. This will be done well in advance of construction to help the geothermal engineer with the final design of the system.
