Overview

Summary

The purpose of this solicitation is for the City of Seattle ("City") to solicit bids for on-site and off-site secure document destruction services. The City currently has one contract for these services (#3434 with Pacific Northwest Shredding); however, this contract is reaching the end of its usable life. Therefore, the City is returning for a competitive solicitation to establish new contracts. Annual usage on the current contract in the last few years has been as follows:

Usage	$108,025.49	$182,657.34	$199,761.79	$186,452.89

The resulting Contract(s) will be for use by all City Departments, but the primary users are Seattle City Light (SCL), Seattle Police Department (SPD), the Seattle Municipal Courts and Seattle Public Utilities (SPU).
