Request for Proposals – City of Lakewood 2025-2030 Surface Water Infrastructure Cleaning and Inspection Services Contract
Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Lakewood at the office of the City Clerk at 6000 Main Street SW, Lakewood, Washington 98499-5027, until 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. Proposals received after 2:30 p.m. on said date will not be considered.
The City is seeking qualified firms to submit bids to provide cleaning and inspection services on storm drain systems to the City for a term of one year with the option to extend the service contract up to five years. These services include provisions of all the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, permits and disposal area and guarantees thereof to complete cleaning and inspection of catch basins, drywells, manholes, vaults, oil/water separators, drain pipes and culverts. The bidder will be required to enter confined spaces to clean storm structures and have the proper permitting requirements and certifications.
The City requires that submitting companies meet the following minimum qualifications to be eligible to submit a Bid: been a business at least three years with no interruption, shall have provided equivalent services to at least two other public agencies within the past two years, licensed to do business in Washington State, shall be able to provide all equipment, materials, and labor necessary to complete assigned tasks, equipment shall be five (5) years or newer, and vacuum truck driver/operator shall possess a valid CDL class “A” license.
