REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS:CITY OF KENT – DEPARTMENT OF PARKS, RECREATION AND COMMUNITY SERVICES - SUCCESSION, TRAINING AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT PLAN RFP DocumentsNotice is hereby given that the City of Kent, Washington, is seeking proposals to a to develop a comprehensive Succession, Training and Workforce Development Plan for the Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Department. Submittals will be accepted electronically via email to jparascondola@kentwa.gov and must include “REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL - KENT PARKS SUCCESSION, TRAINING AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT PLAN” in the subject line. Submittals of RFP’s must be received by 4:00 p.m. on April 20, 2026.
The selected Consultant will partner with the City of Kent Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department to develop a comprehensive Succession, Training and Workforce Development Plan. This initiative is a key component of the department’s long-term strategy to strengthen internal capacity, ensure leadership continuity, and support a highly skilled and engaged workforce that can meet the evolving needs of the Kent community.
