Bid Title: Lancaster Bypass Pump Station Replacement
Category: Stormwater Projects Status: Open Description: Installation of new wet well, three (3) new manholes, approximately 70-linear feet of 18-inch gravity sewer, approximately 60-linear feet of 24-inch gravity sewer, new VFD’s and a new magnetic meter. Additionally, the project includes re-piping the existing valve vault, reconnection to the existing force main, replacement of pumps, bypass pumping and all other work as shown in the bid documents.

SECTION 00 11 13ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTCity of LancasterLancaster, SCLancaster Bypass Pump Station ReplacementGeneral NoticeThe City of Lancaster (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:Lancaster Bypass Pump Station Replacement2024056400.WKBids for the construction of the Project will be received at City Hall Council Chambers located at 216South Catawba Street, Lancaster, SC 29720, until Tuesday, January 20th, 2026 at 2:00, PM EST localtime. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.The Project includes the following Work:Installation of new wet well, three (3) new manholes, approximately 70-linear feet of 18-inchgravity sewer, approximately 60-linear feet of 24-inch gravity sewer, new VFD’s and a newmagnetic meter. Additionally, the project includes re-piping the existing valve vault, reconnectionto the existing force main, replacement of pumps, bypass pumping and all other work as shown inthe bid documents.Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on Lump Sum basis as indicated in theBid Form. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids.The Project has an expected duration of 180 days.The Owner hereby notifies all Bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any Contract entered intopursuant to this advertisement will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to thisinvitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, or national origin inconsideration for an Award. The Owner is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Any Contract that usesfederal funds to pay for construction work is a “federally assisted construction contract” and mustinclude the equal opportunity clause found in 2 C.F.R. Part 200, unless otherwise stated in 41 C.F.R.Part 60, and encourages all small and minority owned firms and women’s business enterprises toparticipate. No Bidder may withdraw his/her Bid within (90) days after the actual date of the openingthereof.No more than 50% of the project may be completed by Subcontractors.
