LEGAL NOTICEIFB 26-00872026 CRACK SEALING PROJECTThe City of Medford, led by its Engineering Office, is accepting sealed bids for 2026Crack Sealing Project in Medford, Massachusetts.This project is being Electronically Bid (E-Bid). All bids shall be submitted online to www.BidNetDirect.comprior to May 6, 2026, by 1:00 PM. Hard copy bids will not be accepted by BidNetDirect.com. You can registerto become a bidder (for free) online at www.BidNetDirect.com. For assistance, contact BidNetDirect.com at800-835-4603.Bid Documents will be available online beginning April 22, 2026 at 10:00 AM, athttps://www.bidnetdirect.com/massachusetts/cityofmedford. All plan holders must have an active onlineaccount on www.bidnetdirect.com to acquire documents, receive project notifications, and to submit bids,electronically. All questions are due by 1:00 PM, April 29, 2026.Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders and shall be accompanied by a BidSecurity in form of a bid bond, or certified check, and/or a treasurers or cashier’s check issued by a responsiblebank or trust company in the amount of five (5) percent of the bid and fifty (50) percent payment bond. It is theresponsibility of prospective proposers to check www.BidNetDirect.com for new information via any addendato this solicitation. Any addenda issued will be emailed to all plan holders registered with BidNetDirect.Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of the Department of Labor and WorkforceDevelopment under the provision of Massachusetts General Law (M.G.L.) c. 149, § 26 to 27D, as amended,apply to this project. It is the responsibility of the Bidder, before bid opening, to request, if necessary, anyadditional information on Minimum Wage Rates for those tradespeople who may be employed for theproposed work under this Contract.The bidding and Award of this Contract will be under the provisions of M.G.L. c. 30, § 39M. The City ofMedford reserves the right to accept any bid, in whole or in part, to reject any/or all bids and to waive minorirregularities and/or informalities as it deems to be in the best interest of the City.The City is an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourages MBE/WBE/DBE participation in response to thebid process.“ MassDOT” prequalification of contractors with the class of work as, Crack Sealing.The duration of this contract is anticipated to be no more than 120 days from the date of the“Notice To Proceed”Fiona MaxwellChief Procurement Officer
