The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and servicesnecessary for the turn-key completion of the project.General Scope of Work• All door systems shall be fully removed and replaced. All replacement assemblies and associated components shallbe fire-rated, UL-rated where applicable, and installed in accordance with all applicable building codes, fire codes,ASA requirements, and manufacture specifications.• Components shall include, but not limited to, door slabs, frames, hinges, non-corrosive fasteners, fire-rated glass,thresholds, weather-stripping, gasket seals, closures, kickplates, panic bars, locking hardware, mullions, sweeps, andall related accessories and hardware required to a turn key installation.• All fire-rated assemblies shall maintain the required fire-resistance rating of the wall opening in which they areinstalled. Labels shall remain visible and intact upon completion.• Double door assemblies shall be provided with one ADA-compliant exterior lever handle for access. Interior push barsshall be installed on all doors, regardless of style, and shall comply with life safety code requirements.• The doors identified for replacement consist of varying designs. Replacement doors shall meet current codes andstandards. Storefront style doors shall consist of aluminum framing.• All new metal surfaces shall be properly prepared and painted white using a high-grade exterior paint.• All solid metal doors, excluding M1 and M2, shall be equipped with a UL-rated security sidelight kit integrated withinthe door assembly.• The Contractor shall abide by the door hardware schedule below.RFP NO. 05072026SCEntrance “A”• The Contractor shall replace the entire storefront system. A commercial Trulite aluminum storefront system, orapproved equivalent, shall be installed matching the existing footprint and opening dimensions.• All aluminum framing shall have a white finish.• Both new entrance doors shall be equipped with ADA electronic door operators, such as Stanley Magic Access, orapproved equivalent. Exterior activation push buttons shall be mounted on aluminum post anchored to the existingconcrete pad.• The Contractor shall include all electrical work required to power, connect, and commission these operators.• Any fire-rated storefront framing, glazing, or door assemblies required by code shall be provided and installedaccordingly.Schedule• Interested Contractors shall contact the County POC (Point of Contract) listed below to schedule a site visit.• Work, regardless of when, shall be scheduled with the County POC.Additional Provisions• All measurements and material quantities shall be field verified by the Contractor.• Submittals of new materials shall be submitted with the Contractor’s proposal.• Upon completion, doors shall be fully compliant with applicable building codes and ADA requirements. All doors shallbe properly aligned, adjusted, and sealed to ensure each are weather-tight.• Work areas shall be barricaded at all times. Openings shall be secured during non-working hours.• Any damages caused by the Contractor shall be repaired or replaced at the Contractor’s expense, subject to theCounty’s discretion.• All debris shall be removed and disposed offsite.• The awarded Contractor shall enter into a Contract with the County, adhering to the Terms and Conditions andAgreement for Services therein.• The Contractor shall utilize the provided bid sheet and submit an itemized breakdown on their company letterhead.• The Contractor shall obtain the required permits, if required, give all notices to the County POC (including a copy ofany permits), and comply with all laws, ordinances, codes, ADA requirements, rules and regulations bearing on theconduct of the work. Permits shall be posted onsite at project location.
