NOTICE TO BIDDERS

SEALED BIDS on forms prepared will be received at the City of Krum (310 W. McCart St., Krum, Tx. 76249) until 10:00 a.m. (local time) on July 21, 2026, for furnishing all labor, material, equipment, and the performance of all work required for:

STREET PAVING SERVICES – 2026-SP-001

The project includes full removal of existing asphalt pavement and replacement with 4,000 PSI concrete for Jagoe Street, North Street, South Street, South 2nd Street & Jackson Street.

COMPLETED BID FORMS Shall be submitted in sealed envelopes upon the blank Bid forms furnished in the Construction Specifications. Sealed envelopes shall be marked: “SEALED PROPOSAL – RFP NO. 2026-SP-001 – STREET PAVING SERVICES – DO NOT OPEN UNTIL 10:00 A.M. ON JULY 21, 2026”. At which time and place the bids will be publicly opened, read aloud, and retained by the city representative for tabulation, checking and evaluation.

BIDDERS Should carefully examine the plans, specifications and other documents; visit the site of the work; fully inform themselves as to all conditions and matters that can in any way affect the work or the cost thereof. Should a bidder find discrepancies or omissions from the plans, specifications or any other documents or should he/she be in doubt as to the meaning, he/she should at once notify the City’s representative and obtain clarification prior to submitting any bid.

PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS and contract documents may be examined without charge at the City of Krum, City Hall (310 W. McCart St.) Public Works Department.

The right is reserved, as the interest of the City of Krum may require, to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in the bids received, and to select a bid best suited to City of Krum’ best interest.
