Project Name MP200 Room B265-39 Linac B Equipment Replacement Project Number 907547.01 Project Description Subject to conditions prescribed by the University of California, Los Angeles, sealed bids for a lump sumcontract from prequalified bidders are invited for the following work:
The Contractor shall renovate Linear Accelerator (Linac) B treatment room B265-39, control room B265-37, and a small portion of equipment room B165-31, and install a new Linac system in room B265-39 on the B-2 level of the 200 Medical Plaza building (MP200). The scope of work includes interior demolition; installation and anchorage of the equipment and associated structural strengthening; interior finish upgrades for floors, walls, and ceilings; new casework and lighting and plumbing fixtures; material testing and air balancing; and provisions for power requirements. The project may include modifications to the fire alarm, fire sprinkler, and nurse call systems; installation of signage; and installation of data conduit and cabling for communications connectivity and security systems. The Linac imaging equipment will be procured by the University and seismically anchored by the Contractor.
